So I don't usually partake in these social media activities but an old friend of mine came across this and tagged me in it. Since its automotive related I figured I would share with you all.
Back in the day when F&F was the up and up, I was a total ricer. Laugh with and /or at my madness.

It's okay. We laugh at you because we love you <3

In the late 90's this was completely acceptable.

I'd rock this sans graphics.

A few years ago I had purple rims ….. so I'm not much better.
(FUCKING PICTURE COMMENTS ARE THE BEST!!!!?1!?!1!1/!!!)

I see what you did there. Cropping the photo to make it look like you were driving that piece of JDM when really you were in the Sebring.

Heh, I totally had underglow at one point in the past

I STILL rock white wheels on a white honda with a huge wing, no decals though :D

look at the time stamp ….
![]() 08/21/2014 at 16:18 |

We all went thru that phase. I had a 1993 Civic SI coupe with a B16A swap. I drove it like in the movie and it went KABOOM!
No SR20 because these were the days before digital cameras.

Yes, and I stand by my statement.

We've all done tacky car mods. My previous car was done up in way too much red decals.

Its ok back in those days I was tacky too. (2001 or '02) I had a HUGE cobra sticker on my rear window.
![]() 08/21/2014 at 16:20 |

Well you say that... The car may have been an early 90's model, but the time stamp I would say is relatively correct.

Graphics, ebay ricer projectors, chrome alteza tails, $80 ebay coilovers....

Ahhhhh! I see, lol.

Ok maybe I'd feel the need to do a little bit more to it haha.

At least you went legit & got on the NIRA circuit since then, right? RIGHT? ;)

God no. I would take ownership to driving the ricest rice bucket ever before the sebring.

2005 was the year I graduated high school. This would have been my jam. We all grow out of that pretty quickly though. Wherever there are new F&F movies and teenagers, there will be this Honda right here.

I made a cold air intake for my Celica out of PVC pipe and painted it black. It didn't melt, but the filter got crushed against the undertray. I wondered why it ran like crap until I pulled that thing out...
![]() 08/21/2014 at 16:29 |

I knew a girl who did this, and also installed a computer fan to "force air" into the intake. The fan wasn't hooked up to anything...

I've been out-riced.
The only thing I have in my defense was that I was 18 at the time.

I know that feel bro. . . But I was in High School when that was rampant. . . Thought I was all cool with my Sport Compact Car subscription and dreaming about those gaudy Wings West bodykits. . . It is okay though, at least you grew out of the misguided fad.
When I was a senior I decided to make a cardboard body kit for my corolla, it was fucking amazing. The chicks totally dug it. . . With my blown speakers and one out of two working sub woofers I had in it. . .

But did you have a No Fear sticker?
![]() 08/21/2014 at 16:54 |
|
That doesn't look too bad, actually. Fairly subtle. :D
I used to drive a stock Škoda Favorit and... did absolutely nothing to it. I did take douchey photos like this, though. :D

No but I did have a bumper sticker on the lower rear window that read "yes its fast and no you can't drive it"

Nice car, lol...
![]() 08/21/2014 at 17:04 |

Heh. My car at that time.
Also an import. But instead of showy stickers, i removed the badges. Which was pretty much the only way anyone could identify this as the rare AWD turbo version. Other than riding in it or driving it. Or getting smoked by it.

I too had my F&F type days. Though this was more like the "Slow and Delirious" days for me. 5$ autozone stripe + 1$ can of krylon black. A bit of time with a screwdriver and some super glue to rearrange the letters and voila! It had an aftermarket muffler and cat so it sounded decently mean.
![]() 08/21/2014 at 17:06 |
|
I'd drive that, provided it looked stock-ish outside. As far as pure fun/$, it was hard to beat the eg civic.

I still want an ST185
![]() 08/21/2014 at 17:08 |

Secret confession: me too. Always have. But the ST165 was cheaper, so i made due....

yeah it was stock outside other than being lowered with 16" aftermarket wheels. it was red with no decals. it had a wings west 3pcs wing that was molded to the body and also the door moldings were shaved off, it looked nice.
It did however have a huge fart can, altezza tail lights, and a single wiper in the middle of the windshield.
